Today we remember all those suffering with Alzheimer’s and their families.
In Isaiah 49:15 God says “though she may forget, I will not forget you.”
Lord God, Thank-you that though we may forget, you never forget your people. We pray today for the many who suffer with Alzheimer’s or any other form of dementia. We pray for them and for their families and carers. We pray for those who feel alone or forgotten, may they know that you are always there to turn to. We pray for those who feel confused, and ask that they would know you as their good shepherd so that they will not be afraid. We pray for families and friends to know how best to help and that all will find rest in the Lord Jesus Christ who is gentle and lowly. Amen
