A prayer for the family of Eden Heaslip and for those affected by bullying

Loving Lord we continue to pray for Raymond and Maggie, Chloe and Finn, Bridie and the wider family and friends of Eden Heaslip.

Please help them as they continue to grieve and seek to rebuild their broken lives. Please give them grace to cope. We pray in your mercy that good would come through a greater awareness of the serious harm that bullying causes. 

Please give wisdom to all teachers, parents and pupils to know what they can do to stop bullying.  We pray also that you will change the hearts of bullies.  We thank-you for how you stopped Saul in his tracks when he was on his way to harm Christians.  We pray that you will stop other bullies and make them think of the hurt they are causing. Please may they turn to you for grace and forgiveness and please transform their lives as you did for Saul. 

We pray for those being bullied, we thank-you Lord Jesus that you understand what it is to be mistreated, please draw near to those being bullied and give them the strength to speak out, and please give them the help that they need. Please help us all to do all we can to prevent bullying. Lord in your mercy, hear our prayer
